Serving – 2-3 times
1 bundle more hard tofu
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 large tomato, finely chopped
1 green pepper, finely chopped
1/2 inch ginger piece, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
A pinch of turmeric powder / turmeric
A pinch of red chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon hot condiment (if desired)
1-1 / 2 teaspoon oil
1 teaspoon chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Tuffle the tofu and keep it aside.
Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add cumin seeds before it and then put onion and fry it till it becomes soft.
Mix ginger and green chilli and fry for a few seconds, then add tomatoes and fry until it becomes soft.
Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chillies, hot spices and stir. Then add chopped tofu and stir well.
Fry for 3-4 minutes lightly, add salt and then stir with coriander leaves.
Serve warm tofu bhoorji with double or roti or as an additional dish, serve it with lentil-rice or vegetable sauce and rice.
